-Ever Evolving-

this last week has been bitter sweet-
- sad news
- sad times
- good news
- good times
- stressing situations

- missing loved ones
- truly a mixed emotional bag of nuts

I wrote a poem many years ago.. about choices-- and tonight i was re-living pieces of that poem.
However now, my feelings and soul speak have slightly evolved- so I wrote Ever Evolving

-Ever Evolving-

my heart is speaking
am i listening?
am i still?

i feel the gladness
i feel the sadness
i feel the breathe of deep sighs

salty waters overflowing
hot flushing cheeks drink with thirst
deep breathe in- deep breathe out-
fear in fear out

then suddenly
bittersweet to
transformation

i feel vitality awakening
i feel power surging
i feel newness birthing

a new evolve a new resolve

be here now
my heart
be still
i am
